A Japán Egyetem, kutató intézetének vezetője Otake Kenicsi a Nature Communications-ben elmondta egy olyan porózus halmazállapotú anyagot állítottak elő, amely "magas affinitású" a szén-dioxid molekulák megkötésében, majd könnyen és gyorsan iparilag hasznosítható szerves anyaggá alakítható.

A porózus anyag molekula szerkezetében van olyan szerves komponens, amely a szén-dioxod nolekulás hatására átrendeződik és egyfajta csapdát képezve megköti a szén-dioxidot.
A szén-dioxod molekulákat megkötő mokekula szerkezet működés közben.
